This fully renovated, spacious 200-year-old cottage with river views is perfect for families or large groups looking for comfort during an active outdoor holiday. Enjoy a morning coffee in the master bedroom overlooking the River Tamar before snuggling up by the log fire after a long day exploring the moors.

Spread over three floors with 3 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom, 8 people can sleep comfortably

The light and airy cottage is tastefully fitted with modern amenities whilst maintaining its original style

The stairs would be unsuitable for people with reduced mobility. There are no child gates on the stairs and the toilets are located upstairs

There is no parking available on the property, however, there is a large free public parking area by the football field a 2-minute walk away. Please be advised that the parking area is public and not monitored with CCTV, therefore, all valuables should be removed.

The house has no garden but is in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a 2-minute walk from the river, football pitch and children’s play area. There are many wonderful walks nearby.

Due to its rural location there is limited phone coverage ranging from good to non-existent depending on your network provider, to get around this most locals use Wi-Fi and internet-based communication channels. The house also has a landline telephone that you can use.

The Lounge has a wood burning stove, a small Smart TV, DVD player and collection of 100+ DVDs and Various games, cards and puzzles.

The Kitchen Dining area offers an electric stove and oven, dishwasher, kettle, Nespresso Coffee machine, chefs knives set, glasses (including champagne flutes), pots, pans, platters, tea mugs and coffee cups, cutlery and serving utensils, condiments (salt, pepper, oil, butter, spices etc), a small fridge, a small freezer, a washing machine and dryer and Bluetooth speaker and radio.

The bedrooms all offer  double or single beds with bedside tables and lights and clothes racks. The master bedroom also has an en suite bathroom with shower, a wardrobe and a Nespresso coffee machine.
