The Bolthole is a delightful holiday cottage, renovated to a high standard, situated in the quiet, picturesque village of Milton Combe, close to Buckland Abbey and within easy reach of Dartmoor National Park. The cottage sleeps 3 in it’s 2 bedroom and is child friendly. One dog welcome (minimum age 12 months).
The ancient stannary town of Tavistock and the historic seaport of Plymouth, are both just a short drive or bus ride away. The property is ideally situated for those wishing to explore Dartmoor. Burrator reservoir and Princetown are within easy reach. Drake’s Trail nearby, a walking and cycling route, offers plenty of scope for fitness and there are a variety of footpaths and dog walks directly from the cottage. Lopwell Dam, on the River Tavy, 1.5miles away offers exciting opportunities for bird watching and good refreshments in its café.
Buckland Abbey Estate (NT) is on the outskirts of the village and Saltram, Cotehele, and Lydford Gorge are all within easy reach. For garden lovers, The Garden House at Buckland Monachorum and The Cider House Garden (NT) make a splendid day out.

Who’d Have Thought It Inn, dating back to the 16th Century offers good local food and is just a short stroll from the cottage. They welcome dogs and children. An excellent deli, butcher, supermarket, garage and post office are located at Yelverton, 2 miles from the cottage.
