Tavistock Festival of Music and the Arts

Two weeks of Music, Art and Literary Events in Devon’s Top Award Winning Market Town, Tavistock.
From 20th April to 4th May 2027. The 22nd annual festival this year again features concerts (classical, opera, choral, jazz), art, drama, literature, lectures, walks and the Arts Market, all for your interest and enjoyment.

This year the Festival is spread over a fortnight with art exhibitions and literary workshops in addition to the many varied musical events presenting a broad spectrum of musical styles.
Once again, in association with the friends of the Festival and the Wharf Arts Centre, we will promote a live performance broadcast of Gounod’s Faust from the Royal Opera House.

The programme includes performances by the Kings Singers, Plymouth Area Police Choir, South West Chamber Choir, a recital by Levowan XII and many other fine musicians. There are exhibitions and walks and talks too.
