Tavistock Chamber of Commerce

The Tavistock and District Chamber of Commerce provides and open forum for all businesses in Tavistock and the surrounding area.

We encourage businesses to trade locally with each other and we have extended our reach to the surrounding towns too.

Our goal is to work with businesses; retail and service leads, identifying areas of positive growth and to develop the opportunities for further growth across all sectors.

The Chamber is driven by its members and local businesses to improve the opportunity for fair and sustainable growth.

We work closely with local bodies and lobby the views of the membership at local, regional and national forums.

Tavistock has a unique and clear history of successful trade both locally and nationally. The Chamber is not aligned with any political party, local government, regulated body or grant funded and will always look to encourage growth of business in the area, remaining the main an independent voice for the business community.

Our biggest aim this year is to encourage working together to make the town stronger, to attract more business into the town, to increase revenue. This is not something that can be done alone, and we have started working more closely with other organisations within the town to encourage joined up thinking and collaboration. We work for our members; without your voice, your opinion and your input we cannot help.
