Bere Alston is a charming village in west Devon, set on the Bere Peninsula between the Rivers Tamar and Tavy. The pretty Tamar Valley Line which runs from Plymouth to Gunnislake, tracks through the village and Bere Alston’s popular pub and local cafe make it a great place to stop on your rail journey.
