OCEAN WITH DAVID ATTENBOROUGH takes viewers on a breathtaking journey showing there is nowhere more vital for our survival, more full of life, wonder, or surprise, than the ocean.
The celebrated broadcaster and filmmaker reveals how his lifetime has coincided with the great age of ocean discovery. Through spectacular sequences featuring coral reefs, kelp forests and the open ocean, Attenborough shares why a healthy ocean keeps the entire planet stable and flourishing.
Stunning, immersive cinematography showcases the wonder of life under the seas and exposes the realities and challenges facing our ocean as never-before-seen, from destructive fishing techniques to mass coral reef bleaching. Yet the story is one of optimism, with Attenborough pointing to inspirational stories from around the world to deliver his greatest message: the ocean can recover to a glory beyond anything anyone alive has ever seen.

Laurent Tirard’s hilarious comedy sees the eccentric sisters of the Convent of St. Benedict set out to save the local nursing home by entering a major bicycle race to win the cash prize…
When the local nursing home finds itself in dire straits and in danger of falling to pieces, it’s down to Mother Veronique (Valérie Bonneton) and the four eccentric sisters of the convent of St. Benedict to find a way to help.
The only drawbacks are that they are terrible cyclists, and their rival convent, led by Mother Veronique’s childhood nemesis Mother Josephine (Sidse Babett Knudsen), have their own plans for the prize money – and just a little more experience…
But God works in mysterious ways!
Fun and frothy, Laurent Tirard’s hilariously absurd comedy will have you rolling in the aisles, and the stunning landscapes of France’s Jura region provide a beautiful backdrop too!
In French with English subtitles.

A beautiful new drama made by local actor/director Caroline Corrie and shot in wild and stunning locations across Devon.
In 1905 a cruel and lonely marriage to Lord Bartlett becomes too much for Helen. She escapes across Dartmoor, taking refuge in a deserted barn where she is discovered by Lord Shalborne, who offers her shelter.
All intentions of escape are put on hold as Helen and Shalborne allow a connection to flourish between them, but when Shalborne unwittingly mortgages his estate to invest in one of Bartlett’s corrupt investments, Helen becomes a pawn in a gentleman’s game. Risking everything to change her circumstances, Helen finds that courage may not be enough to challenge the patriarchal ideals of her time.

Event Details
The Three Inch Fools celebrate their 10th anniversary with a brand new production ‘The Most Perilous Comedie of Elizabeth I’, based on the legendary monarch Elizabeth I at this summer.
We invite you to lay down a rug, admire the far-reaching views across the Tamar Valley, and enjoy those extra hours of sunshine at this open-air performance.
——————————
Synopsis
Elizabethan theatre is flourishing. But will a brand-new Tudor musical romp, in which Good Queen Bess takes to the stage herself, be the making of this heroine or spell the beginning of her downfall? The stage is set for regicidal rivalries, devious dramatics, and plotting playwrights. Beset by misunderstandings and a script that…let’s just say…needs some work, this production promises to be largely historical, totally hysterical. As the old saying goes…thy show must go-eth on!
