If you are looking for a hidden peaceful location away from the norm then Hunters Lodge may be just the property you are looking for. A quiet clifftop farm surrounded by epic coastal views may encourage a tranquil pace of life or conjure up adventurous coastal path walks. However if the sea is enticing you in, albeit for a shallow paddle, a wild swim or to ride the waves a nearby beach by foot or by car will most certainly suit your needs.

Originally the stables for Marsland Manor Farm, Hunters Lodge offers elegant newly renovated accommodation spread interestingly across three floors. The ground floor features a large kitchen/dinner including a snug area with sofa and triple-aspect windows that allow in plenty of natural light in, the hub of the property. Off of the kitchen a separate utility room housing a washing machine and tumble dryer plus sink and clothes airer. A spacious sitting room can be found on the ground floor which has high a lofted ceiling, a modern log burner, French doors leading into the garden and a even a glimpse of the Celtic Sea. Adjacent to the sitting room is the large principal bedroom, a feature bath sits freestanding in the alcove at the foot of a luxurious kingsize bed plus private en suite. The first floor houses two additional bedrooms, one of which is en suite, along with a family bathroom. On the lower ground floor, there are two more bedrooms and a shower room. The lodge boasts a private garden with a manicured lawn, bordered by mature trees and shrubs for added privacy, and includes a small terrace area perfect for al fresco dining in the traditional Japanese Kamado barbecue.

Situated within an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the dramatic North Cornwall coastline, this property lies within the grounds of a clifftop farm which dates back to the 16th century. Neighbouring the Devon Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve the area is ideal for walking, cycling, and riding, with the South West Coast Path and the Tamara Trail accessible directly. The parish of Morwenstow features stunning unspoiled beaches like Marsland Mouth (a short walk from the property), Duckpool, and Stanbury Mouth, and offers amenities such as a local shop, 13th-century pub, tearooms, riding stables, and an active rural community.

The nearby coastal town of Bude offers additional beautiful scenery and outdoor activities, as well as a variety of facilities including supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants. In the nearby village of Kilhampton, you’ll find shops, restaurants, pubs, churches, and schools. Tamar Lakes are only a 20 minute drive away for a lovely walking spot. Travelling in the opposite direction you will find Clovelly, North Devon, a privately owned village world famous for its cobbled, traffic-free street, donkeys, sledges, historic harbour, links with Charles Kingsley, Turner, Dickens and the Spanish Armada is a must see. Launceston, 25 miles away, provides a more comprehensive range of amenities including supermarkets, independent shops, pubs, restaurants, a leisure centre, and a golf course.
