Well Farm Cottages is a group of 5 holiday cottages, plus a glamping pod, in the centre of the village of North Tamerton. We are a family-run site offering self-catering accommodation to single travellers, couples, friends, families and larger groups. Our accommodation is set in the beautiful Upper Tamar Valley, with views of rolling pastures and woodland of Devon and Cornwall. We are on the route of the Tamara Coast to Coast way (Lifton or Launceston to Bridgerule Stage 5) . Our cottages are as follows:
Well Farmhouse (sleeps 10), a medieval longhouse with garden and farmhouse kitchen. Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms king size beds plus a third bedroom with a single bed. Downstairs, bedroom 4 has a single bed and full sized bunk beds. Upstairs bathroom with bath and shower cubicle; downstairs wc and separate wash room with basin and mini-bath. Large farmhouse kitchen, lounge with double bedsettee, open fire. Pets welcome. Character well in the lawned front garden, bbq and firepit. Pets welcome.
Well Farm Cottage (sleeps 6), adjoining the farmhouse. Large galley kitchen, spacious lounge-diner with tv and electric heating, two double bedrooms and a downstairs bathroom with bath and electric shower over. Outside courtyard with bbq, picnic table on grass bordering the central courtyard. Pets welcome.
Cider Cottage (sleeps 4), the original cider barn … now converted into a cosy cottage with two bedrooms (double and twin), fully equipped kitchen and lounge diner with open fire. Bathroom with bath and electric shower over. Lovely views of St Deny’s Church. Back garden with bbq. Pets welcome.
Trewin Court (sleeps 5), a three bedroom converted barn with spacious new kitchen, comfortable lounge diner with open fire, modern bathroom (bath with electric shower over) and double, twin and single bedrooms. Rear terrace overlooking Tamar Valley. Front courtyard with seating and bbq. Pets welcome.
Millers Rest (sleeps 6), a large three bedroom converted barn with fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom with double-end bath and separate shower, spacious lounge diner with open fire, three generous bedrooms (king plus single, twin and single). Rear terrace overlooking Tamar Valley. Front courtyard with seating and bbq. Pet free accommodation.
On site, we have a children’s playground, a games room, tourist information, EV car charger (connected to the PodPoint network), waste and recycling facilities. There is ample parking at Well Farm.
Guests are invited to enjoy use of surrounding fields for picnics, dog walking and river fishing on the River Tamar and River Deer (subject to having appropriate fishing licence).
