Welcome to Gunnislake

The village of Gunnislake sits within the Tamar Valley, close to the Devon border.  This largely residential village was once a thriving, prosperous hub during the mining boom of the 19th Century, employing  thousands and bringing plentiful wealth to the area.  

Today, the sleepy village of Gunnislake is the perfect place to rest your head on a break to the Tamar Valley.  Everything you need is nearby and there is so much to say and do in and around the village centre.  Gunnislake is also home to the northern most station of the beautiful Tamar Valley Line – an absolute must do if you’re in the area.
