Full information

Siblyback Lake is surrounded by the striking Bodmin Moor and offers a wide range of activities both on and off the water. There is plenty to do at this scenic lake, including miles of walks, cycle trails, excellent bird watching, children’s play area and a cafe overlooking the water.

Siblyback Lake Activity Centre offers a variety of watersports including kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding. You can hire equipment or launch your own.

If fishing is more your style then this popular premier fishery is regularly stocked with rainbow trout averaging just under 2lbs, with many fish in the 3-6lb bracket. The lake is home to a large population of resident brown trout to 4lbs, which are catch and release only.

Those wanting to spend a weekend at the site can make full use of the small but friendly campsite on the water’s edge, ideal for the watersports enthusiasts and family groups alike. Bodmin Moor was designated as an International Dark Sky Landscape in July 2017; thus, stunning views are awaiting you when you look up at the night sky. Whether you are looking for a quiet retreat or an action packed break, Siblyback has something for all to enjoy.
