Full information

This scenic train journey is one of the gems of Britain’s rail network. Linking city, river and beautiful countryside through an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the line packs a huge amount into its fifteen mile length, not least the spectacular viaduct at Calstock.

There are lots of great walks from each of the stations along the line

Another great day trip idea is to follow the Rail Ale Trail.

This trail features local pubs easily accessible from stations along the Tamar Valley Line where you can enjoy a pint a drink and a short walk.
