Drovers’ Cottage is a beautifully renovated home-from-home nestled in a peaceful, secluded valley, just a five-minute drive from the market town of Tavistock, the Tamar Valley and Dartmoor National Park. Plus, Devon’s North and South coasts are less than an hour’s drive. Therefore Drovers’ Cottage is perfectly situated for those wishing to explore the wider southwest and enjoy a varied countryside break.

The cottage features a patio area with seating overlooking the valley and a barbecue for alfresco dining. The owner can provide fresh eggs, vegetables, and meat from their smallholding, subject to availability and season. The accommodation includes gas central heating and a wood burner. The fully fitted kitchen includes an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.  In the living room there’s a TV with Freeview, CD/DVD player, WiFi, and a selection of books, games, and DVDs. On arrival, you’ll find a complementary starter pack for the fire.

In the bedrooms bed linen and towels are provided. For families with little ones, there’s a travel cot, highchair, and stairgate.

Outside there’s off-road parking for two cars, patio furniture, and a BBQ.

Please note, up to two well-behaved dogs are allowed, however, due to livestock in the grounds, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs should not be left unattended in the property, nor allowed upstairs or on the furniture.

There is a stream running through the grounds about 50 meters from the property, so please be cautious with children and dogs in this area.
