A true taste of Devon – under the guidance of Executive Chef Mike Palmer, the Tors Restaurant at the Two Bridges Hotel is one of the most sought after dining destinations, not only on Dartmoor but across the whole of Devon.
Whether enjoying a stay with us, stopping for lunch whilst walking on the moor, popping in for a cream tea or planning a special night out, guests will always be reated to delicious, locally sourced food alongside a wonderful selection of local ailes and superb wines – all in the stunning surroundings of Dartmoor National Park.
Starting with hearty, cooked breakfasts, we take pride in providing our guests with delicious local food that will set you up for the day.
Lunchtime at Two Bridges is a relaxed affair with freshly cooked hot meals and light snacks, offering the perfect midday treat for hotel guests, day trippers, walkers and locals. Our ever changing lunch menu features winter warmers such as Pheasant Stew with Rosemary Gnocci and Beef and Jail Ale Suet Pudding alongside lighter bits like the deliciously fresh River Exe Mussels and a variety of open sandwiches – options to suit all appetites.
In the evening, Mike’s creative flair really comes into its own, transforming the restaurant into a fine dining destination. His complex creations include dishes such as Creedy Carver Duck with Fondant Potato, Orange, Raisins and Chorizo and Basil and Ricotta Ravioli with Wild Mushroom, Hen Egg, Leek and Truffle. Not to be forgotten desserts are always a true treat with Mike’s signature dish “Everything Chocolatey” encouraging many a guest to find extra room for pudding!
