Situated amid a glorious rural landscape at the edge of Cornwall’s ancient capital, Launceston, The Cider House is a charming retreat adjacent to one of the Southwest’s premier horse riding schools. Laid out at first-floor level via stone steps, the cottage has a hallway, kitchen with an integral oven, ceramic hob and microwave and a lovely open plan lounge/dining room with views out onto the stables. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 single bedroom. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over. There is a cosy wood burner with a starter basket of wood, and guests can enjoy free WiFi as well as a HD LCD TV, Playstation 2 with an extensive DVD/games library and a CD player.
Just a few steps away guests will find an outdoor swimming pool (May to September), a hot tub and a sauna room. There’s a pretty spacious and level shared garden complete with picnic benches for outdoor dining or simply enjoying the tranquility.
Judd Cottage is also adjacent to one of the Southwest’s premier riding schools. Guests can enjoy lessons for all ages in one of two onsite sand schools. Paintball is also on offer and for those that like, fishing is available on the nearby River Kensey.
