Originally built as a Mine Office for the Devon Great United Copper Mines, The Count House was left for nature to reclaim before being trasnformed into a cosy, comfortable and light filled holiday cottage. Its setting is a wooded hillside with stunning views over the River Tamar and the surrounding valley. The Count House’s private garden helps you immerse yourself in nature with the deer, bats, swallows and brimstones being but a few of its visitors. Inside the cottage has been sensitvely decorated to complement the serenity found outside with the use of green and mistly blue lime washes, and pictures of birds and flowers adorning walls and fabric.
