Things to do near Launceston

Deep in the Tamar Valley, the pretty market town of Launceston has so much to see and do for the whole family. Wander the old streets, browsing the independent shops that line them or stop and refuel at one of many fantastic local cafes and eateries.  

Outdoor lovers will find Launceston a great base to explore everything the valley has to offer from epic cycle trails to beautiful hikes and rambles through the rolling countryside.  Whilst history buffs can explore the rich heritage of Cornwall’s once ancient capital or take a stroll up the hill to Launceston Castle and its spectacular views.
