We are thrilled to announce the launch of our brand-new destination website at a special event on Tuesday, 17th March at the Tamar Valley Centre. This new platform is a major step forward in championing tourism across the area and strengthening our national visibility.
This free event, hosted by the Visit Tamar Valley team, the event will welcome invited representatives from local councils and government, alongside members of the press. This is a rare opportunity to celebrate innovation, collaboration and ambition within the visitor economy, and a clear statement of confidence in tourism in the Tamar Valley. We think this is an unmissable afternoon and we would be delighted if you would attend.
The Come Visit Stay Awhile project, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and part of the Tamar Landscape Partnership Scheme, concluded on 31 December 2025.
Following the project’s completion, the National Lottery and Tamar Valley National Landscape asked Visit Tamar Valley to compile a summary report highlighting our achievements over the past four years. During this time, we navigated challenges such as Covid and lockdowns, the cost-of-living crisis, political pressures, and economic uncertainty. And yet we still delivered an impressive range of initiatives, including legacy benefits that will continue to unfold over the months and years ahead.
We are pleased to share that report with you, which you can view and download on the button below. We believe the project has been a tremendous success, bringing significant benefits both to individual businesses and to tourism across the Tamar Valley region.
