Tinhay Retreats

A small, family-run retreat centre with camping and glamping, in Tinhay – near Launceston. Our site provides the perfect base for anyone exploring Devon and Cornwall. Its also a useful stopover for those on the Tamara Coast to Coast route, the Land’s End to John O’Groats, or the Two Castles Trail.

We offer a quiet campsite with toilet and shower facilities, plus locally produced goods including honey from our bees, jam from our hedgerows, and eggs from our chickens. We have pitches for caravans and motorhomes and an additional ten pitches for tents. The option for electric hook-up is available for caravans, motorhomes, and tents. The campsite is available from the beginning of April until the end of October

Our glamping units (two bell tents) are fully equipped but only available for the summer season, please visit our website for further details and booking information.

Set in a peaceful small-holding of eight acres, only a fifteen-minute walk from the villages of Tinhay and Lifton with a village store/Post Office, deli, pubs, and award-winning farm shop.

For Camping and Caravanning, we offer:

• 5 x grass pitches for caravans/motorhomes
• 10 x grass pitches for tents
• 10 x electric hook-up points

For Glamping, we offer: 

• 2 x fully equipped bell tents, each with a cooking/dining area
