Sandhill House is the perfect Bed and Breakfast rural retreat in a ‘hidden’ part of Cornwall. You can escape from the everyday routine, ‘far from the madding crowd’, to enjoy our genuinely peaceful, adult only Bed and Breakfast accommodation.  With a maximum of six guests, we are perfect for family or friends to get together for a few days catching up and relaxing. Mentioning, which, we have a fantastic selection of local pubs, that serve good food and even better beers. Also, there are superb restaurants in Tavistock just 10 minutes away by car. Effectively, we offer ‘self-catering’, without the catering!

Set in the heart of the breath-taking Tamar Valley, Cornwall, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Cornwall and Devon Mining World Heritage Site. This select Bed and Breakfast in Cornwall is the ideal gateway to explore the fantastic natural environment of the Tamar Valley and its world-changing heritage, Dartmoor National Park, Bodmin Moor and the historic Naval City of Plymouth.

In addition, Sir Francis Drake’s hometown, Tavistock, is less than 10 minutes drive away from our Bed and Breakfast. The rugged world famous north and sandy south coasts are just 30-40 minutes drive away.  Sandhill House is also ideal for exploring several National Trust properties or for business if you prefer to avoid the big hotel chains.
