Lovely countryside ambles

Covering some 75 square miles across the Devon and Cornwall border, you’ll never be short of a lane, a woodland path, or an ancient track to follow and explore while you’re here.

If you love the great outdoors, this part of the world is the perfect choice for walks-orientated getaways. Whatever your fitness level there’s a route to suit everyone.  Choose from relaxing countryside saunters, challenging hikes, or wild ganders galore…  here in the Tamar Valley you’ll be spoilt for choice.

For a truly complete day out, start your walk by taking advantage of the network of public transport available locally. Or, better still, link several walks together, stopping off to explore some of our villages or take advantage of our hospitality and delicious food and drink.

Start your adventure by browsing all the short and circular walks here on this page.

Let the adventure begin
