The Granary is set within 18 acres of beautiful pasture land in one of the most stunning areas of West Devon. Borough Farm is also home to some of the rarest of sheep – our devon and cornwall longwools , we also have Connemara ponies and some quirky lavender Pekin chickens with their fluffy feet which can be seen free ranging in the orchard gardens, and nor forgetting mr duck duck !
The Granary is situated on the first floor of a beautifully converted 19th century stone barn with exposed wooden beams, original slatted windows, wooden floors with sheepskins and rugs. A stunning oak framed apex window allows you to star gaze at night from the carved antique french bed. Guests can relax in a double ended antique french roll topped bath. Granary Guests have their own private Granary Garden and BBQ area at their convenience.
After you have seen the sun rise spectacularly over Dartmoor from your bedroom window, guests can eat breakfast either in the loft next door which they have exclusively as theirs, or in the orchard garden.
Explore the pathways around the farm for some interesting walks through this beautiful part of Devon. Visit local historic towns including the award winning ancient stannary town of Tavistock, climb our nearest Tor – Brentor, with its charming church perched high on the hillside.
