Full information

Trevadlock Manor is in the middle of farmland leading to a private bank of the river Lynher in a truly unspoilt part of Cornwall on the edge of Bodmin Moor and close to Launceston. The peace and tranquillity of this setting belie its convenience as a holiday base.

The beautifully furnished West Wing is accessed from the South facing courtyard, with an outside seating and barbecue area.

Downstairs the entrance hall gives access to a refurbished kitchen with range cooker and an adjacent cloakroom with WC and laundry facilities. From here double doors open into a large living room with slate flagged floors, antique furniture and paintings. Settle into the comfortable sofas in front of a log burner for winter dreams after a delicious meal served at the mahogany dining table.

On the first floor there are two airy bedrooms with comfortable beds. One has a superking sized bed with an ensuite bathroom.

The adjacent room can either be made up as a superking double or a twin bedded room. This room is served by a family bathroom, with a roll topped bath and separate shower.

Access and parking is separate from the adjacent barns with an easy walk to the orchard, fields and river beyond.

Sustainability

We take the environment very seriously at Trevadlock. This year we have installed PV panels to help produce our own electricity. We have a rubbish contract with a zero to landfill mission. The flowers that are in the cottages are all grown at Trevadlock in our flower garden and for the last two years we have not purchased any greenhouse grown flowers. The cakes are all home made at Trevadlock. The cottages were reroofed in 2016 and 2017 and now are well insulated together with double glazed windows to ensure maximum heat retention. We do not use plastic bottles for soaps but have locally produce unwrapped soaps for our guets to use.Home produced lamb and vegetables are available for our guests to purchase. The cleaning staff are all very local.
